Definitely NOT black These are gorgeous boots. Wide calf, which is what I need and always have a hard time finding. The chain around the ankle gives it an edgy look. However, these are most definitely not black. They are very much a dark gray. I wear mostly gray/black in the winter, so I might hold on to them. However, I’m going to continue shopping around as I really wanted black boots. I probably wouldn’t have paid the $89.95 asking price, but I got these with a 20% off promo code.

Calf circumference not as advertised I ordered a size 6, thinking that the circumference would not be scaled for smaller sizes because the listing says 18″ wide. Nope, it’s 16″ wide at size 6. So disappointed!!I have 17″ wide calves and small feet and I was so excited when I found these. The description should be changed to reflect the true calf width scaling.

Awesome Boot! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these boots! I had previously ordered the cognac and I had received so many compliments. The black is more of a distressed charcoal color (which I knew when I ordered them)! I have been wanting a dark gray boot and for less than $45, I didn’t have a choice but to order them! I typically wear a 10, but they were out so I ordered the 9. They fit fine, just not as roomy in the toe portion. The matierial is soft and flexible therefore they do not hurt my feet at all!
